The Derby-Shelton Rotary club announced the winners of its 2025 Scholarship Program at a luncheon attended by the winning students, their parents, and school administrator held at the Brownson Country Club. There were seven presentations made at the event totaling $22,000:
Shelton High School
Derby-Shelton Rotary Four-year Scholarship – $8,000 – Victoria Lee
Derby-Shelton Rotary President Scholarship – $1,000 – Ava Battone
Derby-Shelton Rotary Scholarship In Memory of the Deceased Rotarians – $1,500 – Charles Pereira
Derby-Shelton Rotary Scholarship $1,000 – Danielle Russo
Derby High School
Derby-Shelton Rotary Scholarship Four-year Scholarship – $8,000 – Cassandra Silkoff

Ed Sheehy, Chairman of the Scholarship Committee congratulated the students and thanked the members of the committee who had the difficult task of reviewing the large number of applications received this year and making the decisions on the winners.
