Rotarians and WinnersDerby-Shelton Rotary Club is pleased to announce the winners of its six scholarships totaling $22,5000 for 2024. The Club annual provides a variety of scholarships for students of Derby and Shelton High School in a tradition that goes back decades.This year’s winners from Derby High School are:
Four-year $8,000 Scholarship: Jamie Orazietti
President’s Scholarship $1,000: Izabella Weitzler
Technology & Arts $1,500: Alexandra Mraz
The winners from Shelton High School are:
Four-year $8,000 Scholarship: Dominic DiMauro
Deceased Rotarians Scholarship $1,500: Isabella Anderson
President’s Scholarship $1,000: Michael Kinik
Sporting Activity Scholarship $1,500: Cameron St. Pierre
Rotarians and Winners
Ed Sheehy once again chaired the committee for Rotary and was joined by Rotarians Julie Blakeman, Rosemary Allen, Pat Carey, Lucy Andrade and Kim Caro. Jen Moffett of Derby High School and Lisa Sapienza Girard of Shelton High School advised the committee.
