Rotarians Tour Echo Hose Training Facility


Derby-Shelton Rotarians had the pleasure of touring the recently installed training room at the Echo Hose Training Facility in Shelton. Earlier in the year, Rotarians had spent a day painting the room in preparation for the installation of a simulated bedroom and bathroom to be used in training Echo Hose members and other first responders. During a Rotary day of Service, the Rotarians started the project and also provided a grant for the purchase of new equipment and supplies for the room. Click here to see the “before” pictures. On September 22, the club held its weekly meeting at the new facility and enjoyed pizza thanks to the Echo Hose crew before getting a chance to admire the new room which has already been used extensively for a variety of classes.
