Members support food drive……
Several members turned out at the Shaw’s Supermarket in Shelton to help the Connecticut State Police with their food drive for the Connecticut Food Bank. Shown with one of the troopers in the photo are John Scott, Wayne Streever and Gary Sochrin. Also helping for this really worthwhile and successful drive were Troy Adcox (who took this picture) and Frank Madar. Rev. Wayne is credited for corralling these Rotations to spend a few hours of their weekend helping the needy of our state.
The Derby/Shelton Rotary is also conducting their own internal food drive for the benefit of Area Congreagations Together. Members are encouraged to bring a non-perishable item to each week's meeting, and the Club matches the value of the donated food fifty cents on the dollar up to a $500 limit.
