Interact Club tops Rotary!!

The Shelton High Interact Club went head-to-head with the Derby-Shelton Rotary recently in the Umbrella Bowl-to-Benefit . Our own Al Patuzzi was co-chairman of the event that helps victims of domestic violence. The Interact Club members were more than a match for the Rotarians as they raised more than $1,300 to the Rotary Club's $900!! |
Dave Grant rallied his two teams of ace bowlers consisting of himself, John Crocamo, Bill Ostrum, Bill and Mason Miller, Mike Santa, Wally Viets and Ernie Luise (Wayne Strever burned up the alley with the Huntington Congregational Church bowlers). However Gail Grant and Karen Turchik confidently assembled the Interact as they filled 7 lanes with bowlers. Following the bowling, Interact invited Rotary to join them for pizza and soda and a fun time was had by all.
