The Derby/Shelton Rotary Club had a very productive Memorial Day Weekend as club members built their own float for the Derby/Shelton Memorial Day Parade, one of the great traditions bringing the two communities together. Club members spent Sunday assembling the float and then marched in the parade on Monday. Several members of the club who are veterans were honored and sat on the float while other members marched behind the float distributing candy to the spectators.
